Brazil take on Venezuela at the Arena Pantanal tonight in the World Cup qualifiers. Here's everything you need to know to watch.

The Brazilians started their qualifying with a 5-1 victory over Bolivia where Neymar scored a brace. This was followed by a 1-0 win over Peru thanks to a goal from Marquinhos.

Venezuela have had a mixed start to their qualifiers, losing 1-0 to Columbia but then beating Paraguay by the same scoreline. Salomon Rondon got the winner against the Paraguayans who will be known by Premier League fans for his time at West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle and Everton.

It will not get any easier for Venezuela -who have never qualified for the World Cup- as they take on Brazil tonight. However, the five-time World Cup winners are in a state of transition. They currently have Fernando Diniz in caretaker charge with Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid set to take over next summer.

Brazil's front line is still spearheaded by Neymar, who is his country's all-time top goalscorer having found the back of the net 79 times. He is 31 now and playing for Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, which is a shame that at this stage of his career, he is not competing at the highest level. The 2026 World Cup is likely to be his last chance to win soccer's ultimate prize.

The tournament in three years' time will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Brazil has a successful history in the USA and Mexico having lifted the World Cup in both of those countries already. They have not won the competition since 2002 but they could reclaim it on North American soil again in 2026.

Brazil are looking to continue their 100% winning start to FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifying in CONMEBOL with Venezuela the visitors on Thursday. La Vinotinto have not won two qualifying games consecutively since 2009 while the Selecao have never lost a World Cup qualifier on home soil. The Brazilians saw off Bolivia and Peru in their two opening fixtures while the Venezuelans beat Paraguay after losing to Colombia in their opener. Brazil are also on a 10-game unbeaten run against Venezuela and both coaches -- Fernando Diniz and Fernando Batista -- are still relatively new to their jobs.

Raphinha, Renan Lodi, Vanderson and Caio Henrique are all out while while Joelinton and Eder Militao were left out owing to injury. Guilherme Arana and the uncapped Carlos Augusto could start with Danilo, Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhaes in defense while Ederson could continue in goal instead of Alisson Becker. Al-Hilal's Neymar should overtake Dani Alves (126) as Brazil's second most-capped player ever with Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior likely to join him in attack with either Gabriel Jesus or Richarlison.

Potential Brazil XI: Ederson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Arana; Guimaraes, Casemiro; Rodrygo, Neymar, Vinicius Jr; Jesus.

Venezuela: Alexander Gonzalez should start at the back alongside Wilker Angel, Yordan Osorio and Miguel Navarro. Tomas Rincon and Yeferson Soteldo, Roberto Rosales and Nahuel Ferraresi will all be competing for starting roles. Salomon Rondon could make his 99th international appearance alongside Josef Martinez up top.

Potential Venezuela XI: Romo; Gonzalez, Osorio, Angel, Navarro; Sosa, Rincon, Herrera, Soteldo; Josef Martinez, Rondon.

Venezuela will hope to keep Brazil at bay but their best chance of coming away with something is arguably a draw. History suggests that it will be a difficult outing for the Vinotinto and that the Selecao should win this one fairly comfortably.

The Canarinha team is at the top of the current standings after scoring a 5-1 win to Bolivia and a 1-0 win over Peru. Meanwhile, the Vinotinto marchs fifth after losing in Colombia (1-0) but took the three points with a narrow win over Paraguay.

Brazil will be back in action when they host Venezuela for another exciting match of the South American qualifiers. Neymar will be on the team after coming out of injury and being fit for their games. In addition, Vinicius Jr. will also be available to play for the five-time World Cup winner.

Brazil enjoyed a promising start to the World Cup Qualifiers, securing two victories in their first two games. This strong beginning has set them on the right path towards qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. However, while they managed a decisive win against Bolivia, they left some doubts in their match against Peru.

In that match, Brazil won 1-0, with the decisive goal coming in the 90th minute. Consequently, they aim to deliver a more convincing performance this time around. They will face Venezuela, who, although not considered favorites to qualify, have had a commendable start with one victory and one defeat. If they maintain this momentum, they might dare to dream of a historic qualification.
